Ruth and Marc’s Wedding Website - Launched!
Our latest commission, RuthAndMarcsWedding.co.uk, is now live.
Weddings are expensive things and in these current economic times the last thing you want to do is pay a professional photographer £1500+ when most of your friends will be taking photos anyway. This was the decision Ruth and Marc came to, but a decision that left them with a problem. How do you get the high resolution photos back from everyone?
After many hours searching Google for the perfect way to collect and display the photos, Ruth and Marc only really found two viable options. The first a social networking site like MySpace, were all the photos would be “optimized for the web” (i.e. squashed down and quality removed) and would be no use for print and the second a photo sharing site like flickr, which would allow their guests to upload a small selection of high quality photos but would mean all the guests would need to know each other for them to find the photos. As neither of these were the perfect solution Ruth and Marc were looking for they gave up searching and came to us.
Our solution to this problem… A very simple web gallery, that allows their guests to register and upload large amounts of full quality photos which are automatic displayed and are available to download as a .zip file by anyone. And the cost for all this… 75% less than their original quote from the photographer! That’s a staggering saving when you think that Ruth and Marc will get to see their wedding “through a wide variety of eyes”.

Does it really matter what hosting I use?
This is a question we get allot from our clients… and our answer is always a resounding YES!
For instance one of our clients, before they came to us, had there site hosted on a budget shared server and was paying a reasonable £3.00 pcm (especially when they promised a 99.9% uptime and all the trimmings)! But they soon ran into difficulties as that “near perfect” uptime went out of the window within the first week.
You see the problem with most budget hosting suppliers is that all they do is buy a dedicated server and jam it full with as many people as they can find and because of this everyone receives a poor service.
There is nothing worse than your website being off-line! Firstly its just not a good “look” but more importantly think about all those lost leads!
Hosting is a complicated subject, but it doesn’t need to be that way! Check out our new “Amazing Hosting” plans, they are reasonably priced (starting at £2.50 pcm) and are very robust… But the best thing of all is that you don’t have to worry about a thing… We do all the dirty work for you!

Welcome to our new (and vastly improved) website…
If any of you were privileged enough to have seen or used our old site, you will defiantly agree with us when we say it was slightly shocking (and that’s being nice)!
But we have decided not to have a weekend so we can bring you a new and improved website…
This new site will include;
- A Blog (You are currently reading it!) that will be updated Daily…OK more like Monthly… but it will be updated with interesting news, web highlights and special offers from us or our big brother!
- For the first time ever we will also have an up to date portfolio… (Trust me, Its a BIG thing!)
- And a list of our services, Whoop Whoop indeed!
